Return & Exchange Policy

We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. At Kokotete, we’re here to make sure your shopping experience remains smooth and worry-free — including returns and exchanges.

Return Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
Return requests submitted after this period cannot be accepted.

Once your request is approved, the returned items must arrive at our warehouse within 30 days of the delivery date.

Please note: The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer unless the original item is defective or incorrect.


How to Request a Return

Step 1: Contact our customer care team at info@kokotete.com, including:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for your return

  • Photos of the item in its current condition (and tags/QC label if applicable)

Step 2:
If your request is approved, you will receive detailed instructions and the return address. Please ensure all items are packed securely.

Step 3:
Once your return has been received and inspected at our warehouse, your refund will be processed within 3–5 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once the refund is completed.


Eligibility & Conditions

To qualify for a return, all items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unused

  • Have all original packaging and tags attached

  • Be in resellable condition

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.

Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items:

  • Products marked Final Clearance

  • Bodysuits, swimsuits, lingerie, tights, socks, and accessories (for hygiene reasons)

  • Matching sets cannot be returned or exchanged separately

  • Orders paid entirely with Store Credit are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded


Quality Control

Please note that the following are not considered defects:

  • Minor loose threads, raw edges, or thickness variations

  • Differences in color due to monitor display

  • Dissatisfaction with fit, color, or style preferences

  • Damage caused by improper use, washing, or maintenance

We recommend consulting our Size Guide before purchasing, as sizing differences do not constitute product defects.


Refund Process

Refunds are issued via your original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive and approve your return.

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds are sent to your card-issuing bank. Please contact your bank for posting times.

  • PayPal, Klarna, or other providers: Refunds are sent directly to your account with the same payment service.

  • Store Credit payments: Items purchased using only store credit are not eligible for refund or return.

The original shipping fee is non-refundable.


Important Notes

  • Do not return items to the sender’s address printed on your package. It is not the return address, and will delay processing.

  • Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

  • Ensure no non-Kokotete items are included by mistake. We are not responsible for returning such items.

  • Kokotete is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect address, name, or refusal of shipment by the customer.
